Bishop James Mote

http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/local/articles/0530death0530.html

The first Metropolitan of the ACC, Bishop Mote, passed away on April 29th. This news was not known by the general public until May 29th. My friend and colleague, Fr. Frank Brulc, told me of how several years ago Bishop Mote had encouraged him and blessed him, upon learning that he was going to be a priest in the APCK.

May the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace: And let light perpetual shine upon them.

Dear Fther Hart,

Thanks for your note this morning on Bishop Mote. You undoubtedly missed The Continuum report of the bishop´s death, a month ago today.

Ironically, just this morning I was searching for something on the net of substance about Bishop Mote, but basically only found obituaries -- and rather scanty ones at that.

Perhaps Fr Matthew or Fr John could help fill in the blanks on the life of a man who looks most interesting.

Unfortunately, I did not know Bp Mote personally. What I know of him is second-hand. There will be an obituary in the next Trinitarian, which I hope will be better than the ones Albion has seen to date.
