A PLACE WHERE THOSE WHO LIVE IN THE ANGLICAN CONTINUUM, OR WHO ARE THINKING OF MOVING THERE, MIGHT SHARE IN ROBUST, IF POLITE, DISCUSSION OF MATTERS THEOLOGICAL AND ECCLESIOLOGICAL. QUOD UBIQUE, QUOD SEMPER, QUOD AB OMNIBUS CREDITUM EST
I have written another essay of apologetics. This one deals with certain modern cosmological theories from a theological perspective. It was, I thought, too large too put here without "hogging" the page.
Very nice essay, father. Having recently devoured several books by the Rev'd. Dr. John Polkinghorne where he discusses these matters I find your comments to be quite in line with his assessment in these matters.
Scientists sometimes forget that their theories (which are often formulated so they do not have to 'believe in God') also require the assent of faith! The question is, though - on what grounds?
