Personal announcement

Birth of our grandson

Yesterday, Oct. 3rd, at about 5:30 pm (EST, not Cyprus time, I say, since Albion's island home is the reason our time and date are so far ahead of the Americas), Mrs. Hart and I met our son in law in the lobby of a hospital; he led us to the room where our daughter Hannah had, only forty minutes earlier, given birth to Olafur Ivan Nelson Jr., five lbs, 12 oz. They are both doing very well.

Heartiest (or is that Hartiest--sorry) congratulations, and lots of prayers that the little fella will grow up to be just like grandpa.

Bob,

Yes, the time differences are significant. I was fast asleep when you posted your wonderful news, and am only now just about to have my second morning coffee. Could barely see the screen till after the first one.

With Sandra, I send you all my hartiest good wishes and prayers for chronia polla -- many years!

Congratulations, GrandFather Hart. I can't wait to see this small lad; because of his birth, I am now a Great Grandmother! Your father and I rejoice in this acknowledgement of all we did in setting up this remarkable family. (Well we're the originals of those who are still waking up on the green side of the earth!)

Life goes on and God has been very good to us.

Ma Hart, also known as GGM (GreatGrandMa)

WATCH over thy child, Olafur, O Lord, as his days increase; bless and guide him wherever he may be, keeping him unspotted from the world. Strengthen him when he stands; comfort him when discouraged or sorrowful; raise him up if he fall; and in his heart may thy peace which passeth understanding abide all the days of his life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ALMIGHTY God, heavenly Father, who hast blessed us with the joy and care of children; Give us light and strength so to train them, that they may love whatsoever things are true and pure and lovely and of good report, following the example of their Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.
