Contemporary worship?
I'd call your attention to the blog of a faithful UECNA priest, one of the best pieces I've seen on the contrast between 'contemporary' and traditional liturgical worship. What, indeed, is 'worship'?
A truly great essay, which addresses the transcendent issue in Christianity today. This trend of creating a humanistic substitute for Divine worship runs across every donomination I know of. It would be nice to dismiss it as simply another tiresome fad, but this represents an issue as serious as the worship of baal usurping the worship of Yahweh. Thanks for sharing. This Fr Wes is a man to watch!
