For us separation from the Canterbury Communion was a settled issue by 1978. Some in the Church of England felt safe back then. See the article here.

Mohler has got it right, even though he is a 'Babtist'. One of the reasons I left was the washy-wishy Anglicanism that could not make up its several minds.
