One of the perks of blogging is getting to show off a grandson Diane and I are proud of. My daughter and son in-law took a while, but did present him to be baptized.

I love the expression on his face - and upon yours! Does anything ever make one feel so smug as holding a grandchild?
Wonderful picture! May the boy ever walk close by Our Lord, and may blessings be rich upon him and his family.
But you didn't tell us his name.

"Lo, children, and the fruit of the womb, are an heritage and gift that cometh of the LORD.
Like as arrows in the hand of th giant, even so are the young children.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them."
Truly, a wonderful picture!

Many years, little one!
God grant you and your grandson many years!
Well, thank you. Bruce.
Is the lad's name really Olafur?
He does look Scandinavian enough to be named after St. Olaf.
Sancte Olave, ora pro eum!
