Aid to missions in poor countries

Clergy shirts can be expensive. This is especially true for priests in poorer countries, where the cost of one shirt can equal a month's income - or more.

Now, thanks to an initiative that began in the Diocese of the South and spanned the globe, affordable shirts are available from Good Shepherd Anglican Catholic Church, Korogocho, Nairobi, Kenya. Already more then 20 (editorial note: Since initial publication, in The Trinitarian, the number has increased to 90) shirts have been made, which will help clothe clergy in the Diocese of Aweil in Sudan.

See the story here. Then see our new link, Kenya clergy shirts to the right on this page.
