Of your charity...
...I bid your prayers for our own Fr. Wells. He has been diagnosed with pneumonia, anemia and exhaustion.
O Lord, Holy Father, by whose loving-kindness our souls and bodies are renewed; mercifully look upon thy servant Lawrence, Priest, that every cause of sickness being removed, he may be restored to soundness of health; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Almighty, everliving God, maker of all mankind: We beseech thee to have mercy upon thy servant, Lawrence, Priest, in his affliction. Give him grace to take his sickness with patience and courage, and grant that he may recover his bodily health, and serve thee henceforth in newness of life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
Pastors are like doctors--they make very bad patients. I'll pray for the good father's health and healing, but as much as anything, I'll pray he gets some rest.
We will pray for you at Morning Prayer today. Your online posts are greatly appreciated.
