Keeping the Faith and Losing It
I recommend an article at at blog called Whitehall. It gets to a very important point right away.
The most relevant thing Christianity has to say to this present world is that society presently makes moral decisions on seriously flawed and untenable grounds, and that, therefore, its moral decisions are unreliable at best. The Church is not called upon to make the world feel comfortable in its flawed decisions, but to place the world inder judgment by shining the broght light of truth upon it. B16 is to be commended for saying this in terms much clerarer than we've been used to hearing.
