They will never be able to endure the brightness, nor do I believe they are meant to. It is only with our spiritual eyes that we will see the Light. I know this from personal experience, having survived a near-fatal episode of ventricular tachycardia. First I vomited, my blood pressure plummeted and I fell to the floor, unable to draw a breath. I felt my arms and legs go completely numb. My husband dialed 911. Knowing I was dying and my struggle to breathe was futile, I silently asked our Lord to have mercy and then gave up my battle. Instantly I was enveloped in a bright but very warm and peaceful Light. There was no sound or bodily sensation whatsoever. I had no idea where I was; time did not exist. Enduring this Light was easy and calming. It was a balm to my soul. Anyhow, when I came back I was in an ambulance, there were electrodes stuck all over my chest, an oxygen mask covered my face, and an EMT was speaking loudly to someone about alerting the Heart Station.

We have spiritual bodies, Fr Hart. This I know for certain, and we are also told so in the Bible. (1 Cor 15:44)

SusanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
