It seems to me that even if we could wave a magic wand and rid the (new) ACNA of WO, there would still be the matter of not only the 1979 TEC rubbish, but also of their own attempts to make something up based in part on that work. For all of the talk among Anglo-Catholics about "catholicity," there seems to be very little interaction with the faith of undivided and Apostolic Church. Archbishop Haverland's homily is a notable (and refreshing) exception. Thanks again.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02323802850616813295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18902745.post-10730337047987875232015-07-24T21:04:34.373-04:002015-07-24T21:04:34.373-04:00Archbishop Laud's sermon (which I mentioned in...
Archbishop Laud's sermon (which I mentioned in my previous comment) can be read here (pp. 63-90):

https://books.google.com/books?id=8CgBAAAAQAAJ&pg=PA75&lpg=PA75&dq=archbishop+laud+sermon+jerusalem+is+built&source=bl&ots=XP8J3PWbiD&sig=Gw4lEvMFJABsk2rUrxUy7BjGx1E&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0CCIQ6AEwAWoVChMI5Imw-Ij1xgIVhBw-Ch2FXQNp#v=onepage&q=archbishop%20laud%20sermon%20jerusalem%20is%20built&f=falseWilliam Tighehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16634494183165592707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18902745.post-30003540668091854982015-07-24T20:58:48.854-04:002015-07-24T20:58:48.854-04:00I suppose it can be no matter of chance, or accide...
I suppose it can be no matter of chance, or accident, that Archbishop Haverland's sermon is on precisely the same text as that most famous of the sermons of Archbishop Laud, preached on Monday, 6 February 1626, at the opening of the second parliament of King Charles I.William Tighehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16634494183165592707noreply@blogger.com
