Your post came up. I am ever amazed at the ingnorance of Christians concerning God's laws. God's laws are for our protection physically first, but always a spiritual protection if only to prove the condition of our hearts trust that God knows best how to live this life. Leprosy is contagious. That's why it's unclean. Not because it's a sin to have the disease. Jesus broke no law in touching to heal. God never said a prophet is sinning if he is healing. Upon the touch, there was no leprosy. Paul is the author is Christianity. Paul is by nature an explainer of the law. Problem is, he is a pharisee in his view of the law. He is wrong in his explaination of the law. God's laws are not there, as Paul states, to show us we are sinners. God's law are to show us how best to live this life. If understood in their context, whether civil or cerimonial, they make sense then, and now. Anyone who knows Yahweh, knows he is was angry with Israel. Therefore anyone who chooses to associate with God's people through submission to the Sabbath (Isaiah 56:3-5) are part of this situation. Israel is under punishment of God for messing with God's laws. Trying to change things to suit them, rather than submitting to the holy God they claim the name of. All those who have decided that God's done it wrong, and have tried to recreate the Temple worship are just as guilty. God is waiting for repentance, then He'll bring back his Temple. Remember, sacrificing of animals did not forgive sin, simply asking did. When God designed the Temple, he made it possible for us to bring a gift a/k/a offering to His house, where the spokeman for God would prepare the gift to make it a holy sacrifice. Perverted Judaism and Christianity removed our ability to bring our gifts to God. No only have they prevented that ability in their unrepentant acceptance of God's way of doing things. They have arrogantly reformulated things, as though God was too stupid to do it "right" and have recreated a whole new system of offerings and sacrifice. How in the face of God is that!?!! No, when people accept that not only Israel is under punishment of God, and God doesn't need anyone to do it in a different way, only then will things begin to move in the direction God demands they be. I realize that most Christians will reject anything I've written here, but I also know that's because they don't have a decent biblical defense for the main doctrines they hold to foundationally. All I know is the truth needs to be put out there, as so many want so much more out of life, and the legalism of Judaism and Christianity do not provide quality of living as God's law provide and intend for those who "get" their purpose and show God they believe and trust Him in submitting to God's law. May you find the truth. Sincerely, SherrySherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08504811482083990456noreply@blogger.com
